RunKit +

Try any Node.js package right in your browser

This is a playground to test code. It runs a full Node.js environment and already has all of npm’s 400,000 packages pre-installed, including fuzzymdb with all npm packages installed. Try it out:

var fuzzymdb = require("fuzzymdb")

fuzzymdb v2.0.1

This package adds new features to the mongodb database through the use of fuzzy techniques and approximate string matching.

This project is part of the final degree project entitled "Expansion of a NoSQL database system through the use of fuzzy techniques". The operations available for the MongoDB database have been expanded through the use of fuzzy techniques. It is a npm-module for node.js.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

For use the npm-module, first you need to install node.js. You can find the software here:

To use the module fuzzymdb, you will need to have installed the mongodb module and ora module. Both of them are dependencies of this project but when you install the fuzzymdb module you already download the necessary packages for complete functionality.

Also, if you experiment some problem, you can install the modules manually following the next steps: To install the mongodb module use the following command:

npm install mongodb

To install ora module use the following command:

npm install ora

A step by step series of examples that tell you have to get a development env running

Say what the step will be

Give the example

And repeat

until finished

End with an example of getting some data out of the system or using it for a little demo

Running the tests

Explain how to run the automated tests for this system

Break down into end to end tests

Explain what these tests test and why

Give an example

And coding style tests
