$ npm install known
const known = require('known');

const object = {foo: true};

console.log(object.bar);
//=> undefined

const object2 = known(object);

// Throws a TypeError when you try to access an unknown property
console.log(object2.bar);
//=> [TypeError] Unknown property: bar
