RunKit +

Try any Node.js package right in your browser

This is a playground to test code. It runs a full Node.js environment and already has all of npm’s 400,000 packages pre-installed, including magnitude with all npm packages installed. Try it out:

var magnitude = require("magnitude")

magnitude v1.0.0

n-dimensional vector magnitude

2D, 3D and n-dimensional vector magnitude.

var magnitude = require('magnitude')

magnitude([ 0, 1, 0 ])
//=> 1

magnitude([ 0, 4, -3 ])
//=> 5

Or the squared magnitude (to avoid a sqrt operation).

var magSqr = require('magnitude/squared')

magSqr([ 0, 4, -3 ])
//=> 25

npm install magnitude --save

len = require('magnitude')(vector)

Returns the vector magnitude of the given n-dimensional vector array.

lenSqr = require('magnitude/squared')(vector)

The same as above, but without the final Math.sqrt operation.
